Compensation
Base Pay
When you join Quincy Compressor’s team, your base pay is determined by your experience, the salary grade of the position, and the demand for your skills in the marketplace. All positions fall into a certain salary grade and range. Throughout your career with Quincy Compressor, merit increases are given based upon individual performance and your salary level.
Quincy Compressor, as well as EnPro, prefers to promote from within the company whenever possible. If you are promoted to a higher position or salary grade, your base pay would also increase.
Plant employees are paid once a week, and office employees are paid twice a month.
We encourage the use of direct deposit.
Gainsharing Program
Quincy Compressor also has a gainsharing program in place to add an incentive pay for achieving certain gains in the month. When we “do more with less,” we share that gain with our employees. The targets are established at the beginning of the year and measured each month. Every employee contributes through hard work to help us achieve these gains.
