Seeking degreed individual with 2 - 5 years experience as a full-charge Quality Engineer working in metal fabrication industry serving automotive, automotive supplier, and/or office furniture industry. The successful candidate will effectively take charge and assist in the implementation of key company quality programs to insure the development, implementation and continual improvement of product and processes that meet or exceed customer expectations. Position manages gage build, component quality, product and process non-conformance resolutions; implement customer contact and documentation required for program launch, engineering change and non-conformance resolution. Support manufacturing inprocess improvement activities to maintain required CpK/PpK and/or other quality standard requirements. Direct customer contact involved. Implement and manage advanced quality planning activities.
Must be proficient in GD&T, able to perform Gage R&R, SPC and capability sutdies, read and react to layout reports. Involved in program development documentation specific to the customer such as AIAG PPAP, Process Flow and Control Plans. Program Management skills using Microsoft applications.

Position requires Bachelors of Science in Engineering or related field.
