This course is intended for any manager who needs to understand and apply the basics of employment law. This is an overview course on employment law. It can also be delivered privately for the managers in your organization at a time and site of your choosing.
Every manager must have a working knowledge of employment law requirements. When dealing with employees, any comment, action, or position a manager takes is done on behalf of the organization, and may potentially expose your firm to litigation. This important seminar will provide non-HR managers with an overview of employment law requirements to help them avoid the most common and potentially damaging problems in the workplace. They will also learn when to call in the human resources experts before bigger problems develop.
