Marketing/ Business Development Manager
We're looking for a self-motivated, dynamic person who can take charge of our marketing and business development operations. We need a strategic thinker who can also implement quickly and drive new business in multiple channels.
If you have the experience, drive and knowledge to move into a management role in creating customer demand this is your opportunity!
The planning, creation and execution of an action oriented marketing plan within a technical sales environment will be the top priority of this role.
This is a hands on position involving all facets of marketing, including sales tool generation, ad design, public relations, trade show coordination, research and strategic planning. A graphic designer/ marketing support staff person will be a direct report to this position to assist in the execution of the marketing plan.
Skills needed: Execution, management, some Graphic Design, good verbal and writing , organizational and an attention to detail.
Self-motivator / achiever. Responsible Team player.
Good knowledge of MS Office software.
Job Requirements
Candidates with prior marketing experience to academic customers will be given preference. Some experience in managing creative graphic design production needed. Adobe InDesign knowledge a plus. Web Site concept management experience a plus.
Education Requirements
Marketing degree preferred but not required.
A proven ability and a track record in increasing revenue is critical.
