WOODVILLE-TOMPKINS OFFERS CAREER PATHWAYS! The Savannah/Chatham County School System is designing a state-of-the-art facility and partnering with area businesses to offer every high school student more career choices. The new Woodville-Tompkins Institute is scheduled to open in September 2007. Students will attend on alternating days, which will allow them to continue academic studies in their home school. This will make these career and technical courses available to any student in the system. Students will receive invaluable, hands-on experience in real work environments. They will also receive the guidance required to succeed in college and compete in highly competitive job markets. The Woodville-Tompkins Career and Technical Institute offers many career pathways which are structured under new Georgia Department of Education guidelines. These pathways present great opportunities for students starting careers in Georgia and around the globe. For enrollment information, contact your high school counselor or the Career and Technical Education office. 912-201-2163
