Senior Engineering Manager

Roles and responsibilities will include: • Perform technical engineering and provide technical direction (system architecture design, data analysis, algorithm/process development, system integration, test plan execution, verification, etc. ).   • Lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and experts.   Project management for all phases of projects.   • Assume full responsibility for the successful completion of a project including: technical objectives, deliverables, schedule, and budget.   • Develop and execute work plans, coordinate reporting and tracking of deliverables and objectives. • Manage communications and complex interfaces among multiple partners (including government agencies and commercial organizations). • Provide advanced technical input to assist in project planning.   Assist in the development of concepts and work breakdown for new opportunities (both R&D and commercial). • Serve as an advisor to management on technical questions and issues • Develop and present reviews/presentations on project accomplishments/deliverables and system capabilities.

The job candidate must have demonstrated senior level technical abilities and demonstrated management experience.   Requirements: Education: minimum of a Master’s degree in engineering, science, or related discipline.   A higher-level degree is a plus. Experience: 8+ years of engineering/engineering management experience.   Experience managing schedules, engineering efforts, and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously is preferred.
