Description:
This
position is responsible for running project crews, coordinating
plans and day-to-day changes.
Major
Responsibilities - not all inclusive:
Consistently
run major project crews
Perform
quality checks
Coordinate
moves and prepare cut sheets for voice & data cross connect
Adhere
to safety guidelines for entire crew and hold weekly safety
meetings
Responsible
for effective performance of crew and to provide necessary training
Interact
with customer and attend facility/construction meetings
Coordinate
with the Project Manager
Prepare
red-lined as built drawings
Perform
interim crew evaluations
Minimum
Requirements - not all inclusive:
Must have
reliable transportation and meet FCG driving standards policy
High school
diploma or equivalent
Basic reading
and writing skills
3 years
technical experience in the telecomm/cabling industry
1 year
technical supervisory experience
Must possess
all necessary tools.
Hand
tools: screwdriver (regular & phillips), drywall saw,
torpedo level, tape measure, snips, pliers (needle nose
& channel locks), hammer and cable stripper.
Trade
Tools: punch tool with 110 block and 66 block blade, 6/8
position combo crimp tool, volt-ohmmeter, 4-pair continuity
tester, tone set, butt set and five-gang punch
tool
Ability
to travel may be required
