Safety/Industrial Hygienist
Implementation and administration of the Industrial Hygiene Program of Dassault Falcon Jet-Little Rock.
Responsibilities:
Administer DFJ Industrial Hygiene Program.
Oversee of Industrial Hygiene risk/hazard identification, in accident avoidance/prevention, and muscular skeletal disorders (MSD's) and ergonomic safety analysis.
Ensure employee compliance with proper safety procedures and directives.
Interpreting MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) relating to employee health and safety.
Perform several Industrial Hygiene inspections daily on assigned shift.
Implement and coordinate all OSHA safety required training for all DFJ personnel.
May assist in representation of DFJ-LR with Federal and State regulatory personnel.
Serve as emergency team member or on-scene commander for crash or rescue mishaps.
Required Qualifications
BS degree with emphasis on Industrial, Occupational (Health/Hygiene) or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of three years experience in OSHA Safety related functions.
Knowledgeable in Federal, State, and local regulations and codes relating to OSHA safety.
Ability to review and interpret Regulations (29CFR) company policies, safety standards, and effectively communicate compliance to employees.
Knowledgeable in HAZCOM, hazardous material and hazardous waste.
Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in Aviation or Transportation related industry.
Experience with OSHA regulatory exposure/compliance in environmental controls, machine/equipment guarding, personnel protective equipment application, and building constructions.
Some experience with chemical security/disaster response/inclement weather or related experience (i. e. , OSHA action/emergency/contingency plan).
