Position Title IT Technician (Req #657) Location
Graham, KY Description 11/17/06 Responsibilities Responsible for support relative to Information Systems, including Computing and Network equipment and software, communications (telephone, audio/video, radio), security (card access & video surveillance), and associated systems. Support will include problem resolution (Help Desk coverage); specification, procurement, installation & maintenance of new hardware and software solutions in accordance with company growth plans and policies; and training of personnel on current, new or changed hardware & software applications. Requirements Formal degree or certification (or minimum of 6 years' experience equivalent) in Information Systems, Personal Computers, Network Technology and/or Administration, required. Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or equivalent preferred. Strong background and interest in electronic technology overall is desirable. Must have demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot hardware and software problems. Must be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Must be flexible (tolerant of change) and able to set own priorities. Experience with telecommunications, audio/video, and security related systems a plus. Must be current with today's technology and prepared to transition as technology and business demands change in the future. Must be able to travel in order to meet training goals and to facilitate/enhance communications.
