Geogrid Product Manager
Profile: The Geogrid Product
Manager would be based at Maccaferri's Administrative
Headquarters Technical Department in Williamsport, Maryland,
reporting to the Technical Manager or Technical & Marketing
Director. The scope of the job would be the development and
promotion of the geogrid used in soil stabilization projects
for the USA market. This includes all related work involved
in the design, drawing, and structural plan checking of all
geogrid projects. This person would also provide professional
assistance and technical advice to clients and our sales team.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s
degree required with major coursework in Geotechnical or Civil
Engineering. Experience must include geotechnical design work
such as soil stabilization/remedial works, geogrid reinforced
structures, slope stability, earthworks, retaining structures,
ground improvement. Or an equivalent combination of education
and experience, sufficient to successfully perform the essential
duties of the job as listed below.
Examples of Key Duties:
Conducts geogrid design proposals, evaluates alternatives,
and makes recommendations.
Assists clients on the installation of the products.
Prepares and/or directs the preparation of drawings for
commercial and marketing use related to the geogrid program.
Interprets construction and survey drawings.
Develops and reviews engineering plans and designs for
private, municipal and public works projects.
Prepares and gives PowerPoint presentations. This position
will require extensive travel.
