Analytics Consultant
The Analytics Consultant develops marketing mix and other statistical models based on our clients’ business issues and requirements. The models are applied regularly to decisions concerning product & service pricing, media spending level and mix, promotion planning, marketing mix optimization, and demand forecasting. In addition to model development & testing, Analytics Consultants regularly communicate model results to client stakeholders (in some cases, mid-level and even senior management), including business implications and recommendations.
The Analytics Consultant role requires strong statistics and communication skills, plus solid knowledge of SAS programming language (e. g. , must know SAS macros). An advanced degree in statistics, economics, operations research, or quantitative business/marketing is required. Hands-on experience with market response modeling (price, media, promotion) and syndicated (IRI, Nielsen, IMS Xponent) and/or direct-from-client POS data is a big plus.
